  • Completing the persona profile through the "My Profile" section and submitting the online application through the "Law Admission Test" link on the menu panel in the left-hand sidebar of the online HEC portal are the two parts of the HEC online registration process.
  • Applications in Save or Incomplete mode will not be accepted; only Submitted applications will be taken into consideration for the LAT Test.

Fee for LAT Test 2023:

  1. It is necessary to submit a test fee of Rs. 1250 into Account No. 1742 7900 133401. Bank: Habib Bank Limited; Account Title: Higher Education Commission of Pakistan; Branch Code: 1742
  2. Download bank Fee Challan while registering for the test at http://etc.hec.gov.pk (Fee Challan is only available at the ETC online registration portal).
  3. To submit their application, candidates must upload their paid and scanned Fee Challan, which has been officially stamped by an HBL branch while filling out the ETC online registration portal application form.
  4. There are no exchanges or refunds for the LAT Test Fee.

      Who can Apply for the LAT?

        1. Candidates who have completed Grade 12 schooling or the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or an equivalent
        2. Candidates who are awaiting results as well as those who passed the HSSC or comparable final test and completed Grade 12 education.

          LAT EXAMINATION GUIDELINES:

          • The roll number slip for applicants who use the HEC online registration process can be downloaded from http://etc.hec.gov.pk 
          • and created a registered email account one week before the LAT exam.
          • Students who have registered will also receive emails and SMS with test locations, dates, and times. Students who wish to get a Roll Number Slip must provide a valid email address or mobile number when completing the online application form.

          Subjective:

          • 15 Marks: Essay, up to 200 words, in English or Urdu
          • Ten Marks: Personal Statement (up to 200 words, in either Urdu or English)

          1. 20 marks – Intermediate level English (Synonyms/ Antonyms/ Preposition)
          2. 20 marks - General Knowledge
          3. 10 marks - Islamic Studies
          4. 10 marks - Pak Studies
          5. 10 marks - Urdu (Vocabulary)
          6. 05 marks - Mathematics (Basic Mathematics)

          Total Marks: 100 (Passing Marks 50):
